Coinbase has listed Dogecoin on their professional trading platform.
According to a recent blog post, Coinbase Pro will allow users to transfer DOGE into their professional trading accounts. Doge trading is expected to launch on Thursday “if liquidity conditions are met.”
The blog post said:
Starting immediately, we will begin accepting inbound transfers of DOGE to Coinbase Pro. Trading will begin on or after 9 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) [on] Thursday, June 3, if liquidity conditions are met.Coinbase Pro
Interestingly, Coinbase usually lists digital assets on their professional trading platform only a few weeks before its lists them on the retail platform. This could mean that Coinbase plans to list Dogecoin also for their retail clients fairly soon!
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong first announced the exchange would list DOGE during an earnings call last month.
